Strings Played Jazz

The comeback after a successful exhibition for musicians is not really easy . The audience is full of memories from the past. It is a good opportunity for epicureans to compare the way artist has gone. If you are listening to Eladad's compositions, you feel like you are listening to some well known standards, with memorable melodies and maybe you get to like it easily. You can realize, that Eldad's pieces have got several levels just after replicate listening. You can enjoy his free but well built improvisations and breaking rhythms. When I was reading a list of the members of ensemble: Yoni Halevi-Drums, Percussion-Featured artist(Israel), George Dimitriu-Violin(Romania), Eugen Morrarita-Violin(Romania), Sasha Bota-Viola(Romania), Diana Butariu-Cello(Romania), Jonny Bota-Bass(Romania), they immediately reminded me Chick Corea's period with strings . This music was well dramatized too. Strings were playing pure jazz. The most of pieces was based on swing rhythms with a little Middle-East exotic spicy messy rhythm machinery from drummer Yoni Halevi. "I only flirt with rhythms," said about his playing. Eldad played with a little bit sadness, different from melancholy what we can feel when North European musicians play. He was hard to himself, but friendly towards the band. If only a small audience was there, but musicians were forced to play additions several times . They surely felt the love of listeners and love is difficult for all of us.
